ArkTenn Cricket League

2010 Games Format

1.       The 10 teams will be divided into 2 brackets of 5 teams each on the following considerations:

a.       Based on 2009 team placing

b.      2 from Arkansas and 3 from Memphis area in each bracket to have equal travel for all teams.

c.       The rankings are decided by how far a team went up the playoff ladder. JCC and LRCC are finalists so they get 1 and 2. CAM and CCC are semi-finalists so they get 3 and 4 and so on. BYCC is ranked 10th and not 9th for only reason of maintaining travel balance between the 2 groups

Further Description of Super Six Stage:

Let’s assume teams A, B and C from group 1 go to Super 6 while teams X, Y and Z from group 2 go to Super 6.

Each of these 6 teams have had played with each other in previous round twice each. So teams A, B and C will carry all the points that they earned in round robin against X, Y and Z. Similarly X, Y and Z carry over points they earned against A, B and C.

This is how teams will be placed into 2 groups in Super 6. They will be ranked by points that they earn in round 1.
